Christmas Messy Church Style! - Tuesday 19th December 3.30pm
This event is a real treat! with a Christmas theme and Christingle making! Afterwards Festive food is available, so come along and be prepared for a great time!

New Family Worship Service - Sunday January 14th 10.30am
Our New Family Worship Service is being trialed at the moment but we are hoping to hold this format of service once a month at some stage in the future. This new service includes a time of praise and worship led by our resident musicians, a message from the Word of God, drama and opportunity to pray. We are trying to make this service 'Family Friendly' so that people of all ages can be included.

Men's Breakfast - Saturday 9th December 9.00am
This new venture is held on the first Saturday of every month at 'Manor Farm' restaurant in Lower Wick. We meet together at 9.00am, order our breakfast and then enjoy good conversation and great food. Everyone pays for their own breakfast and you can eat as much as you like, that's my kind of breakfast! If you are interested just turn up and enjoy!

Carol Singing around Meadow Bank - Monday 11th December 6.30pm
This annual festive event is a great way to pass on some Christmas cheer at Christmas! We meet at the church at 6.00pm and then head up to Meadow Bank for 6.30pm. We attempt to sing carols around the whole estate and have even been known to sing requests! Everyone is welcome to this event, even if you are not a great singer! After we have finished singing we head back to the church for hot soup and festive refreshments so come along and join the fun! All proceeds to Action for Children.

Light a Candle for Absent Love Ones - Saturday 16th December 2.00pm - 4.00pm
This is one of those very special opportunities where family and friends can come along and light a candle for an absent love one. It may be that your Loved one has passed away or that they are in another part of the world and Christmas often is a difficult time as we miss them so, so come along and light a candle in the quiet of the church. If you like you can stay and talk and have a drink and a mince pie! Everyone is welcome.

Traditional Candlelit Carol Service - Sunday 17th December 6.30pm
Christmas is a very special time of the year for many and what better way to begin? This Carol Service includes many of the Carols known by most everyone and in an atmosphere lit by candles, so don't forget to bring a torch! Seasonal refreshments will be available after the service. This Community Service is for everyone so come along and start your Christmas here!

Family Nativity with a Difference! - Sunday 17th December 10.30am
When it comes to the Nativity, Bromyard Road excels! This service is unlike any service you have been too! Our young people re-enact the Christmas Story in a very contemporary way, and the content is a closely guarded secret right up to the event itself. This service is fun for all the family and will appeal to all! Seasonal refreshments will be available after the service and will include mince pies! Again, this service is very much for all in the St. John's Community and beyond so come along and enjoy our own retelling of the Christmas Story.

Candlelit Midnight Communion - Christmas Eve Sunday 24th December 11.30pm
It's Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is just around the corner, how better to spend the fading hours prior to the great day itself! During this service we sing some of the most well known Christmas Carols and celebrate Communion together. It does not matter what church background you have, all are welcome to share the bread and wine or receive a blessing as we remember the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus Christ. It will be great to see you!

Christmas Day Celebration for all the Family - Christmas Day Monday 25th December 11.00am
Well, the great day is here, some of you have probably been up since the early hours, the turkey is in the oven, and you're wondering what to do, or you might just have woken up, away from family and friends and want to enjoy something of what it means to be with 'family' on this special day, whatever your situation, this is one of those occasions when it is great to be with others in a real 'family' atmosphere. This short service is for all the family including 'YOU'.

Covenant Service - Sunday 7th January 10.30am
Methodism has a long history and the Covenant Service is very much a part of it. From the earliest days of Methodist societies, John Wesley invited the Methodist people to renew their covenant relationship with God. So this is a very special occasion indeed!
